The Gallery of Andy Warhol

Andy Warhol was an accomplished advertising illustrator and graphic artist before he became well known as Pop artist and celebrity. His collection of the outrageous and bedazzling images of  shoes --from spikes to boots to mules --that are some of Warhol's  icon  images  belongs to Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts. A witty quotation of his appears on top of this page daily. He died in 1987.
