Christmas Messages The well-loved Yale Professor, William Lyon Phelps, found this message written on a pre-Christmas examination paper: "God only knows the answer to this question. Merry Christmas." Dr. Phelps returned the paper to the student with this cheery notation: "God gets an A; you get an F. Happy New Year."
