on an empty page
I try to write poetry
just to say "you're mine"
but the vague outline
eludes my grasp
for to lay claim
on a masterpiece
would be wrong
you can only write
a tribute to
the designed feelings
like how my heart seems
to beat its last
each time you release me
from your arms
and walk away even though
I know you'll be back
or how the air
seems to design
a certain pattern
for me to shiver
whenever your lips
meet mine
or how your hand
intertwines with mine
in a certain way
claiming me to be yours
but that would also be wrong
for you can't claim
a masterpiece
to be your own
but writing just a tribute
doesn't seem quite right
somehow
thus the page is still blank
free from words
of any kind
would you like to have
an origami swan?
I think I can
make a genuine one
out of this piece of paper...
