Firethorn's Den

His Masterpiece

He believed himself an artist;
an assistant of Michelangelo,
an impostor of Vincent Van Gogh.
He thought that a good lighting
at the right angle would capture
the model's alluring radiance
for him to transfer down on
his almost tattered canvas that
had been painted on ten times
before. He chose only the shades
of dynamic colors that promised
to leave an explosive imprint
on one's mind at the very first
glance. He worked on fitting
his model into the right mood
of the light; endlessly until
she was exhausted with emotions.
In the end, he had his perfect
caption of the most beautiful tear.
