From an Angel's Point of View I don't understand why everyone wants to be an angel. Granted that you have wings and you look angelic at all time. It's not as glamorous as you all think, you know. Take me for an example, I AM an angel. I was sent to earth to help mankind. For years, I have tried but I have also run into blocks. First there were wars between the Huns and Eastern Europe. Then the birth of philosophy that started to take root in everyone's mind making them think that they were sooo clever and that they could prosper without the help from Heaven, sheesh! Oh hey! You have got to love it, notice a sarcastic tone here?, when the Romans decided to persecute those in favor of Christianity. I began to think my job sucks, right at the very moment watching all the killing, and it hasn't gotten any easier even after Jesus was born. You would expect all churches to start giving support to angels, after all the prophets mentioned us from time to time in the bible, but noooo, their sole purpose of religion is to get to heaven, as if they could do it all alone. Actually, to be fair, a few do ask for help from me now and then, but I am aiming for some sort of mass communication here. I mean I want to get words across that I am here to help everyone. So don't give me a funny look and a placated smile, then say Halloween is not here yet... Maaan, I want a new job. © 06/06/01
